The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) advises residents of Grand Cayman to anticipate delays in residential garbage pick-up in all communities scheduled for collection today (Tuesday, 19 June 2018). Affected areas include Eastern Avenue, Swamp, Godfrey Nixon Way, South Church Street, Denham Thompson Way, Walker’s Road, Elgin Avenue, Hospital Road, Mary Street, Scranton, Myles Road, Rock Hole, Sound Way, North Sound Road, Red Gate Road, Breezy Way, Shedden Road, Smith Road, Templeton Pine Lake, Shadow Lane, Wahoo Lane, Brinkley Road, Casper Walk, Merrendale, Short Lane and Webb Road to inside Seymour Drive.
Garbage pick-up is scheduled to resume in these areas tomorrow (Wednesday, 20 June 2018). Previously uncollected areas such as Newlands-Leeward and Windward Drive; Bodden Town- Belford Estates, areas off Shamrock Road including Will T. Drive to the entrance of Northward Road via Star apple Street, Hudson Drive, Fig Tree Road; East End- Seaview Road, Midland Acres to John McLean Drive via
Bodden Town Road; West Bay- small roads in West Bay, Barnett Close to Andresen Drive, Willie Farrington Drive, West Church Street, Revd. Blackman Drive, Garston Smith Drive, Mount Pleasant Road, Yacht Town Road and Batabano Road as well as homes on route from London House to West Bay Fire Station will receive garbage pick-up today (Tuesday,19 June 2018).
