Prospect Bypass & Roundabout Closed Overnight – 20th January, 2017

Drivers going towards, or coming into town from the eastern districts, and especially residents of the Prospect area, are advised of an overnight road-closure.
The east access to the bypass (off the Dr. Tomlinson/Poindexter Roundabout, leading to the East-West Arterial / Rex Crighton Blvd) will be closed this evening (Thursday, 19 January 2017), from 8p.m.  It will reopen by 6a.m tomorrow.


The Poindexter Roundabout will also close to Prospect and Patrick Island residents. Drivers should instead use Poindexter road onto Siberia Avenue, then exit onto Mahogany or Mangrove Avenue to gain access to Shamrock Road.
This closure is to allow an anti-skid application to be made to the road surface by the National Roads Authority (NRA). NRA officials apologise for any inconvenience to the  public.

    Motorists are advised that Crewe Road’s west-bound lane at the Silver Oaks roundabout will be closed on Saturday, 15 July 2017 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The closure is to allow roadworks to take place along Crewe Road. The east-bound lane will remain open.
