Off the Couch Training on Monday Evenings

The Off the Couch weekly training programme begins on Monday, 6 March in the run-up to the 2017 Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge.

The programme, which is free of cost, is for all fitness levels from beginner walkers to seasoned runners.

Starting at 5.30 p.m. each Monday, participants meet at the staff entrance to the Government Administration Building on Elgin Avenue. Off the Couch is open to civil servants, private sector employees and members of the public.

The 2017 DG’s 5K Challenge aims to raise $60,000 for the YMCA of the Cayman Islands to build a ropes challenge course. The walk/run is being held on Cayman Brac on Sunday, 23 April and on Grand Cayman on Sunday, 30 April.
