The Ministry of Community Affairs is inviting the public to attend one of its five presentations, later this month, identifying self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
The free presentations, being hosted with the support of the Alex Panton Foundation, will educate parents, residents and the community on how to identify self-harm and suicidal thoughts/behaviours. Attendees will also be advised about how to respond and who to reach out for help, guidance and support.

Liquor licence holders – including those with music and dancing licenses – are reminded of the upcoming Annual Liquor Licence Meeting to be held September 13th, 2018. The deadline for applications is August 24th, 2018. Licensees are reminded before they can apply for renewal; the premises must be inspected and approved by the relevant Government agencies. As part of its continued effort to improve the Cayman Islands road network, the NRA continues to work diligently on the Linford Pierson Highway (LPH) road widening. The NRA will be closing one of the two eastbound lanes of the LPH at the Silver Oaks Roundabout from Friday July 13th, 2018 around 9pm to Sunday July 15th, 2018 at 5pm, to help facilitate construction works. Beneficial Ownership Information Filing Requirement for Ordinary Companies that do not Engage a Corporate Service Provider
The deadline for filing beneficial ownership information for Cayman companies is 30 June 2018. The General Registry will have extended hours on Thursday, 28 June and Friday, 29 June to facilitate filing of beneficial ownership information. On the 20 June 2018 Sir John A. Cumber Primary School (SJACPS) was notified that one of their Year 6 students had passed away at home earlier that morning. The Ministry of Education, Department of Education Services (DES), and the School offer their sincerest condolences to the family during this most difficult time.
