The RCIPS would like to remind the public of the correct measures to be taken when transferring ownership of vehicles from one person to another. The best practice, according the to the Department of Vehicle and Drivers’ Licensing, is that both parties attend the DVDL together, complete the prescribed form, pay the set fee and receive a new logbook with the new owner’s information. The Cayman Islands will celebrate Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s official birthday on Saturday, 17 June 2017. A parade by the uniformed services will precede a brief ceremony at the Legislative Assembly recognising past and current recipients of Queen’s Honours. The RCIPS will be holding a community meeting in East End this Thursday, 11 May, from 7-9PM. The meeting will take place at the East End United Church Hall on Seaview Road (near Brazley’s Bar). The Commissioner of Police, Derek Byrne, and senior staff of the RCIPS will be in attendance to discuss policing issues and community concerns. The meeting is open to the public.
