On Thursday, 9 November, Edward Street will be closed between Fort Street and Dr. Roys Drive (next to Bread & Chocolate) to facilitate the Joint Law Enforcement & Public Safety Recruitment Fair taking place at the George Town Town Hall. In observation of World Diabetes Day on Tuesday 14 November 2017, the Health Services Authority wishes to inform the public of free health screenings being held in partnership with the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens. The health screenings will include blood sugar, cholesterol, glaucoma and HBA1c testing. The Department of Vehicles and Drivers Licensing (DVDL) reminds individuals who have been called by DVDL to collect their registration plates. The Crewe Road office will be open this coming Saturday (4 November 2017) from 9 am to 12 noon for the sole purpose of conducting plate exchanges.
