Memorial Tombstone for Dr Hortor

Dr. William Alfred Conrad Hortor arrived in the Cayman lslands in 1936 at a time when there were no local doctors. He unselfishly gave his time and services for minimum reimbursements. He would often walk from George Town to West Bay and other districts when called upon. A visiting couple from the USA while at Smith Cove, George Town on Sunday 16th November 2014, lost jewellery. Wedding rings and other pieces of property of sentimental value were lost. Anyone finding jewellery on the beach at Smith Cove between Sunday 16th November and Monday 17th November 2014 is to contact the George Town Police Station on 949 4222.
