Grand Court Jurors Report Date Change

This notice applies ONLY to the SEVEN JURORS already serving in the ongoing trial.  The report date of Thursday, 30th October has been changed.  You are now to report on Tuesday, 4th November, 2014 at 9:45 a.m.   All other Grand Court Jurors who are in the ‘1 OCTOBER – 13 JANUARY 2015’ session, are still to report on Monday, 3rd November, 2014 at 9:45 a.m.

Residential Garbage Collection Schedule

Department of Environmental Health (DEH) officials are reminding residents to follow proper guidelines for garbage disposal. Doing so will help ensure that garbage waiting for collection will not be hazardous, either to the public or DEH collectors. Residents are also reminded not to allow garbage bins to fill with rainwater, rather to keep bins covered, so as to reduce the risk of mosquito breeding areas. Continue reading …

Applications for Tobacco Registration Renewals Are Due

Food Certification Courses for Pirates Week Vendors

The public is being advised that the Department of Environmental Health will be conducting two special Food Handler’s Certification Courses for Pirates Week food vendors and their assistants. All individuals planning to serve food or manage food stalls during the 2014 Pirates Week Festival must have up-to-date food handler’s certifications from the Department of Environmental Health (DEH).  All food handlers needing certification must register and complete the training.
