January is ‘Support Our Youth’ Month

During Support Our Youth month businesses will be asked to participate in the Cayman Islands Youth Development Consortium’s Employee Campaign whereas staff and customers will be given an opportunity to contribute to the organization’s asset building initiatives and upcoming summer camp. Donation boxes will be distributed during Monday January 5th to January 9th and collected on January 26th. The efforts of each company will be reported on at the main event ‘Celebrate Our Youth Day’ on Saturday January 31st. Continue reading …

  • Beneficial Ownership Information Filing Requirement for Ordinary Companies that do not Engage a Corporate Service Provider

    The deadline for filing beneficial ownership information for Cayman companies is 30 June 2018.  The General Registry will have extended hours on Thursday, 28 June and Friday, 29 June to facilitate filing of beneficial ownership information. Ordinary resident companies are required to file this information through the Cayman Business Portal (http://www.cbp.ky).

    Please be advised that the Cayman Islands Department of Immigration’s Cayman Centre office is currently closed to the public due to urgent facility repairs. The closure includes the office’s Boards and Work Permit section, in addition to the Call Centre, Appeals and FOI section.
